Hello Readers,

Well, it hardly seems possible that summer is also here. But it is. Of course here in Florida we are already feeling the heat. And many areas have already had some bad fires destroying everything in their paths. So far here in Northern Florida we have been lucky. Let's hope our luck holds out. 

So much has been going on in my life that I feel the need to let you all know. We received the news from our oldest grandson, David Anthony that he will leave for Iraq in September. This is very hard on the family but mostly on his wife Charlotte. It is always hard to be seperated from someone you love but it is even harder when he is in harms way. Please keep David and Charlotte in your prayers as they face the greatest challenge of their lives. I know with God's watchful eye he will come home to us safe and sound.

This May 9th & 16th I did the survivors walk for the Relay for Life. As a soon to be 21 year survivor of Breast Cancer these walks are always important to me. When the walk is over I always begin my own walk for ones I have bought candles for. They are in memory of and in honor of. Sad to say there are more in memory of then the other. Please send your donations to this worthy cause so that we can stamp out this terrible diease.

My hubby and I have taken on a challenge of our own. Taking off unwanted pounds. We started bicycle riding. Since neither of us have been on bicycles since we were in our teens it was very challenging. But I'm happy to say that we are now doing three miles and love our commune with nature. And the pounds are coming off!

Last but certainly not least is the last edits on When The Vow Breaks have been sent back to my editor and hopefully it will make a September release date. I did finish the Christmas story for next year's anthology. Little did I know when I wrote Chance For A Merry Christmas about a wounded soldier coming home from Iraq that my precious grandson would be going there. This makes this story that more precious to me. I'm also working on a secret project with fellow author Cheryl Norman. All I can say is your going to love this one!!
